“Good news and a good sign for all Russian sports” – Rodnina on the allocation of quotas to Russian swimmers at the Paris Paralympic Games

Russian State Duma Deputy Irina Rodnina told that granting 42 quotas to Russian swimmers to participate in the Paris Paralympics is a good sign for all Russian sports.

Earlier, the head coach of the Russian Paralympic team, Yuri Nazarenko, told that the International Paralympic Committee had planned 21 men’s and 21 women’s quotas for swimmers to participate in the Paris Paralympics.

“The allocation of a quota to our swimmers for the Paralympics is good news and a good sign for all Russian sports, given that our Paralympians have not been allowed anywhere since 2016.” Honestly, this shouldn’t be surprising. We hope that common sense will one day fully triumph,” Rodnina told .

The Paris Paralympic Games are scheduled from August 28 to September 8.
