Empoli without Kovalenko snatched victory over Torino

Incredible ending to the match with goals from Zapata and Niang

Empoli in a home match 31st round of Serie A won Torino – 3:2.

Cambiaghi put the hosts ahead in the sixth minute. The visitors came back after the break: Zapata scored in the 60th minute.

Substitutions from Empoli led to Cancellieri’s goal. And then came the denouement. At 90+1, Zapata scored a double from Bellanova. However, three minutes later, Cacace, in a power struggle, took the ball away from Raul and provided an assist for another “joker” – Niang.

Ukrainian midfielder Empoli Victor Kovalenko spent the match on the bench. He has one goal and one assist in 15 games this season.
