Russian Stepan Kisselev took 11th place in the Paris Marathon, which took place on Sunday.
Kiselev covered the distance in 2 hours 14 minutes and 30 seconds. The victory was won by the Ethiopian representative Mulugeta Uma (2:05.33), the second and third places were taken by the Kenyans Titus Kipruto (15 seconds back) and Elisha Rotich (+1 minute 20 seconds).
In the women’s part of the competition, Ethiopian Mestawut Fikir won (2:20.45), her compatriot Enat Tiruseu (+3 seconds) was second and Kenyan Vivian Cheruiyot third (+1.01).
Kiselev is a two-time Russian marathon champion.
