Beloded, Yadov and Lesyuk will perform as part of the Ukrainian national team at the 2024 World Judo Championships

The competition will be held from May 19 to 24 in Abu Dhabi

Head coach Ukrainian national judo team Vitaly Dubrova named the list of athletes who will perform at World Championship 2024 in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Among them – Daria Belodedwhich recently won the gold medal at the 2024 European Championships.

“Only the best are going, because the World Championship is in the UAE. The trip is quite expensive financially, so we will guide those athletes who showed results at the Grand Slam and Grand Prix tournaments, who, in our opinion, are competitive at the World Championships,” said Dubrova.

Men: Artem Lesyuk (up to 60 kg), Bogdan Yadov, Nikita Goloborodko (both up to 66 kg), Mikhail Svidrak (up to 81 kg), Anton Savitsky (up to 100 kg), Evgeniy Balevsky (100+ kg).

Women: Daria Bilodid (up to 57 kg), Elizaveta Litvinenko, Yulia Kurchenko (both up to 78 kg).

The 2024 World Judo Championships will be held in Abu Dhabi from May 19 to 24. Let us remind you that the Ukrainian national team will not be able to be represented at the forum by Dilshot Khalmatov, who also missed the continental championship due to problems with the knee joint and is purposefully preparing for the Olympics.
