Panathinaikos made two changes to its European squad list ahead of the two matches against CSKA Sofia 1948, registering newly signed forward Levi Garcia and forward Cyril Dessers. The decision to add the Nigerian forward is linked to the absence of Andreas Tetteh, who is dealing with infectious mononucleosis.

Two changes to List A
Levi Garcia completed his move to Panathinaikos on loan from Spartak Moscow on the night of Tuesday, August 4, and was registered immediately for the two matches against CSKA Sofia 1948.

Panathinaikos also made a second change to its European list. Cyril Dessers was added to List A, with the club using the right to make changes that remained available until the eve of the first match.

Tetteh's absence opens a spot
The Nigerian international forward is now training at a normal rhythm and with high intensity, which allowed the coaching staff to consider him for selection.

The decision to add him to the list is also connected to the absence of Andreas Tetteh, who will miss both matches against the Bulgarian side because he is dealing with infectious mononucleosis. With Dessers now available, Panathinaikos secured an additional option for its attacking line.
