Sevilla beat bottom-of-the-table Valencia 1-0 at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium in the match that opened the fifth round of Spain's La Liga, ending a run of two games without a win and moving up to second place in the table.
The only goal of the game came in the 81st minute, when Iglesias found the net to settle a tight contest in Sevilla's favor.
The win took Sevilla to 10 points and second place in the standings, level with Alaves, who have played one match fewer than Sevilla's five.
Valencia could not take anything from the match and remained bottom of La Liga, with the defeat in Seville further weakening their position after five rounds.
Goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos, the Greece international, was again named in Sevilla's starting line-up and produced another solid performance, helping the side keep a clean sheet and secure the three points.
