Russian tennis player Aslan Karatsev said he had undergone knee surgery.
Karatsev was injured in early January, because of which he withdrew from the tournament in Brisbane and does not participate in the Australian Open.

I am happy to share that the operation was successful, and I am full of positivity, I am sure that I will come back even stronger,” Karatsev wrote on the social network.
Karatsev is a semi-finalist at the 2021 Australian Open and a silver medalist at the Tokyo Olympics in mixed doubles. He ranks 39th in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings.
