Three Norwegians took the entire podium
Ukrainian biathlete Vitaly Mandzyn stopped one step away from a medal in short individual race at the first stage World Cup 2024/25 biathlon in Finnish Kontiolahti.
Vitaly worked on all four shooting ranges without a single mistake and took fourth place. Another Ukrainian finished in the top 10 Dmitry Pidruchnywhose liabilities include two mistakes. Anton Dudchenko took 15th place, 2:07 minutes behind the winner. Artem Tishchenko became 49th.
Won gold Endre Strömsheim. The Norwegians occupied the entire podium – Johannes Boe took second place, Sturla Lægreid took third.
Competition in Kontiolahti continues on Wednesday with the women’s short individual race. Ukraine will be represented in it by Kristina Dmitrenko, Yulia Jima, Anastasia Merkushina, Alexandra Merkushina and Anna Krivonos.
