Anna Huang Wins PIF London Championship After Hull Fades

Anna Huang won the PIF London Championship at Centurion Club on Sunday, eagling the final hole to finish two shots clear of Charley Hull after Hull double-bogeyed the 17th late in the final round.

Huang closed with a three-under 70, making three birdies and two bogeys before sinking her eagle putt on the 18th to seal victory on 22-under par. It was her fourth Ladies European Tour title.

Hull's late collapse

Hull had set up a strong final-round bid with a course-record 62 in the second round and a six-under 67 in the third. She carried that form into Sunday, making birdies at the sixth, ninth, 13th, 15th and 16th without dropping a shot to lead by one with two holes to play.

But Hull four-putted the 17th for a double bogey, handing the advantage to Huang. She birdied the 18th to salvage a four-under 69 for the round, finishing on 20-under, two shots behind Huang.

Crowd reaction

The gallery fell silent as Hull four-putted the 17th green moments after taking the lead.

The 30-year-old had been chasing what would have been her sixth Ladies European Tour title.

What's next

The Ladies European Tour resumes with the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open, live from Thursday at 2.30pm on Sky Sports Golf.
