Aston Villa are among a growing list of clubs interested in taking Endrick on loan from Real Madrid, with manager Jose Mourinho set to decide whether the Brazilian forward features in his plans for the season.
Endrick wants to establish himself in Madrid, but with competition for places fierce he may be forced into another temporary move, having already spent last season on loan at Lyon.
The 20-year-old joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras for £50 million in 2024 after turning 18, in a deal agreed two years earlier. He has scored seven goals in 40 appearances for the Spanish club.
Endrick moved to Lyon for the second half of the 2025-26 season after struggling for game time at the Bernabeu, scoring five goals and adding seven assists in 16 appearances in France. That form earned him a place in Brazil's World Cup squad, though he played just 111 minutes at the tournament without scoring as Carlo Ancelotti's side exited in the last 16 against Norway.
Villa's attacking options
Villa are seeking attacking reinforcements following the departures of Morgan Rogers and Youri Tielemans, while the future of backup striker Tammy Abraham remains uncertain. Ollie Watkins was linked with Fenerbahce last month, and Unai Emery's side sold Lucas Digne to Paris Saint-Germain over the weekend.
Villa have so far signed Switzerland World Cup breakout star Johan Manzambi and Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes. They open their season against PSG in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday night before travelling to Brighton the following weekend in the Premier League.
