French leader of the St. Petersburg basketball club “Zenith” Thomas Ertel admitted that he doesn’t care who blames him for wanting to come to Russia.
Previously, Ertel posted a photo in a Zenit uniform on a social network. Many users then criticized the basketball player for his decision to join the Russian club.
– To those who criticize me for the decision to move to Russia. Just keep in mind that I don’t really care. So you don’t have to apologize. Please take care of your own life! Thanks in advance,” Ertel wrote on the social network.
The French Basketball Federation threatens the basketball player with exclusion from the national team if he plays at Zenit.
Ertel, 33, signed a contract with Zenit on September 21. In the last European Basketball Championship, France reached the final, where they lost to Spain. Ertel was one of the leaders of the national team.
