A basketball player who beat a teammategolden state » Draymond Green will be back in the squad on Thursday. The Warriors head coach told ESPN Steve Kerr .
“Draymond is not suspended, he is fined. This is the most serious incident that has happened to the team since my arrival here. He (Green) broke the confidence of the team, but I think he can fix everything, Kerr said.
Late last week, Green got into an argument with teammate Jordan Poole during a training session. At first the players resolved the conflict verbally, but then Green sent the opponent to the ground with a powerful blow to the head, his teammates managed to stop him.
A video of the conflict appeared on the social network, and the management of the Warriors announced the start of an investigation into the circumstances of the leak. Green apologized to Poole and said he would leave the team indefinitely to fend for himself.
Green has been with the Warriors throughout his career, winning the NBA title four times with the team.
Green is scheduled to play the final preseason game against Denver on Friday.
