Budivelnik beat Brindisi in the first round of the FIBA ​​Europe Cup

Kievans got an important victory

Kyiv Budivelnik started with a victory in the group stage of the FIBA ​​Europe Cup, beating the Italian Brindisi — 74:70.

The Kievans managed to take the first two 10-minutes – 21:13 and 22:17. After a pause, the hosts managed to win back seven points from Budivelnik, in the final quarter Brindisi took two points more than their opponents, but Valery Plekhanov’s team kept the victory.

In the next round, Budivelnik will face BK Kalev/Kramo. The game, which is scheduled for October 19, will be nominally home for the Kyiv club and will be held in Rome.

In addition to the FIBA ​​Europe Cup, Plekhanov’s wards will play in the Balkan League and the Northern European Basketball League. The club also announced for the season of the Ukrainian Super League 2022/23.
