From the franchise they have determined the punishment the player will experience for the event that happened to his partner.
The Golden State Warriors fined Draymond Green for punching his partner jordan pool in a training session last week, but decided not to suspend the player.
The Warriors plan to bring Green back and give him minutes in the preseason game on Friday, October 14 against the Denver Nuggetsaccording to US media reports.
“I was wrong for what I did on Wednesday (of last week) and for that I apologized to the team and to Jordan, but I wanted to go one step further. The publication of the video (of his punch) is something that causes great embarrassment. It’s something that bothers me, and that’s something that affects mebut it’s also the feeling of discomfort that Jordan has, that this team has, this franchise has.”Green said in a recent press conference.
“Her family saw that video, her mom saw the video, her dad saw the video. If my mom saw that video, I know how she would react and I know what she would do . So also I apologize to his mother, his father, his family and friendshave a feeling of discomfort”he added.
The altercation between Green and Poole took place during a Warriors training session on Wednesday, October 5, and last Friday ‘TMZ’ broadcast the video where number 23 can be seen giving a strong blow to his partnerwho fell to the ground because of the blow.
