Each team will play with three opponents of their “dough”
Matches of the first round of the Ukrainian basketball Super League 2022/23 will be held in Kyiv and Ivano-Frankivsk.
Eight participating teams are divided into two “bubbles”. The first four teams will play the matches of the starting round in Kyiv October 22-24. The other four teams will play a block of matches in Ivano-Frankivsk October 25-27.
Within three days, each team will play with all three opponents. In the next round, the composition of the fours will change. The Basketball Federation of Ukraine will publish the exact calendar of starting rounds in the coming days.
Recall, MBK Nikolaev will miss this season due to financial difficulties. In turn, Prometheus did not fulfill the conditions for paying fees for participation in the Superleague championship and will focus his efforts on performances in the Latvian-Estonian League and in the Eurocup.
