Offensive defender”golden state Jordan Pool told the publication San Francisco Chronicle that his teammate Draymond Green apologized after a fight in training.
Green argued with Pool last week during practice. At first, the athletes exchanged remarks about each other, but at one point Draymond knocked Jordan to the ground with a fist. A video of the moment of impact has surfaced on social media.
The Warriors said they have no plans to suspend Green, but the player said he would take a break to “reflect”. A few days later, he returned to the team.
Draymond apologized. We have to play basketball because we are professionals. Everyone in the team understands that our goal is to win the championship. I will show up on the field. We are here to take the title. That’s all I can say,” Poole said.
It was revealed over the weekend that Poole had signed a four-year, $140 million contract extension with Golden State.
