In the NBA game against the Miami Heat, the Philadelphia 76ers star stabbed the 2018 MVP talking about his performance in the last games
The current NBA season for the Philadelphia 76ers ended this Thursday, 12th. The defeat at home to Miami Heat declared the end of the Eastern Conference semifinal series. One of the highlights, but this time negative, was the performance of James Hardenwhich ended up being touted as the main factor in the elimination of the Sixers.
After Game 6 against the Heat, the star of the NBA, Joel Embiid harshly criticized the 2018 MVP, saying he is no longer the same on court. Mostly because during the Sixers elimination match, Harden ended up getting more out of whack at a time when he needed to be decisive and, in a way, the main player on the court.

“Since we signed him, everyone has been looking forward to James Harden from Houston. But that’s not who he was anymore. He’s more of a playmaker. I thought at times he could have been more aggressive, like we all could have been more aggressive. All of us, whether it’s Tyrese (Maxey) or Tobias (Harris) or guys coming off the bench.” he said.
With 43 minutes in action, the player scored 9 assists, but only scored 11 points, none of which came in the second half. The 2018 MVP still only took two shots in the entire second half, and still missed the mark. Because of those numbers, and his presence on the court itself, he had to hear harsh criticism from Embiid.
“And I’m not just talking offensively. I’m talking as a whole offensively and defensively. I don’t think we were good defensively as a team. And then offensively just being really everybody on the same page, obviously, just having three or four months for everyone to work together and try to figure it out… Maybe it wasn’t long. I don’t think we played our best basketball. Everyone needs to improve. It’s not just about me or Harden.” said.
Final.

Arrival to the team
Harden joined the Sixers in February of this year, late in the trading window after being involved in a trade with Brooklyn Nets per Ben Simmons and also other players. Simmons has also been criticized after the elimination of the Philadelphia 76ers in the playoffs last year for going blank at the decisive moment.
