Coaching staff revealed Ukrainian men’s basketball team.
Nikolai Kirsanov has been appointed assistant to head coach Ainars Bagatskis. Coach Raimonds Feldmanis and physical training coach Alexander Tomarevsky will also work in the headquarters of the blue-yellows.
Recall that the Basketball Federation of Ukraine has extended the agreement with the men’s team coach Ainars Bagatskis – the current contract binds the Latvian specialist and the FBU until the qualification for the 2023 World Championship is completed.
In qualifying for the World Cup, Ukraine managed to win only one of six matches and practically stopped the fight for a place at the 2023 World Cup.
On November 11, Bagatskis’ team will face the Netherlands. November 14 blue-yellow will play with Spain. These two matches are the final for Ukraine in 2022.
