Elections President of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine take place November 18th during the next FBU Congress.
The President will be elected for the next five years, and the new composition of the FBU Executive Committee will also be approved. The only candidate for the position is the current FBU President Mikhail Brodsky, who has been heading the FBU since 2015.
Earlier it was reported that Stanislav Medvedenko will not participate in the elections for the post of President of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine.
There was also information that the honorary president of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine Oleksandr Volkov would apply for the post of FBU president.
Recall that the season in the Superleague was overshadowed by the scandalous confrontation between the FBU and BC Prometheus. The club did not confirm its participation in the championship of Ukraine without paying the entry fee. Instead of 40 thousand hryvnia, the FBU demands 4.5 million from Prometheus.
