Point guard joined Kyiv-Basket and has a chance to stay in the team
Main coach Kyiv-Basket Vladimir Kholopov said that the coaching staff is looking at the point guard Lev Koshevatsky.
“Yes, indeed now we have the position of the first number is problematic and we are looking for the appropriate player. In particular, we were joined by Lev Koshevatsky, who played for the national team of Ukraine under 20 at EuroBasket this summer. He has a chance to join the ranks of our team.”
The national team of Ukraine U-20, for which Koshevatsky played, took the last place at the EuroBasket. In 2023, the youth team will be represented in Division B.
Kyiv-Basket takes the third place in the Superleague. Kholopov’s team won four matches, having suffered one defeat from the leader Budivelnik.
