“Repeating success is much more difficult than getting it for the first time. I don’t think Zenit can win the VTB United League final series again,” Gomelsky wrote on his official website.
In the previous season, Javier Pascual’s quarters became the winners of the VTB United League for the first time in history. In the final series (4-3), the St. Petersburg team beat CSKA.
