The first defeat of the blue-yellows
The women’s national basketball team of Ukraine lost to Lithuania in the selection for EuroBasket 2023 – 62:81.
The blue-yellows went into the big break with a five-point advantage over their rivals. However, Lithuania managed to impose pressure and forced the Ukrainians to make mistakes in defense, as a result of which the hosts took the third quarter (29:10) and brought the match to victory.
For the wards of Srdjan Radulovic, this is the first defeat in three games. Before that, the Ukrainians got two wins in two rounds. After three matches, Ukraine is in second position in the quartet V.
On November 27, Radulovic’s team will play one more match in the EuroBasket 2023 qualifier against France.
