An NBA idol, Scottie Pippen blasted the Los Angeles Lakers and compared the team to one of his great rivals in the league; Californian franchise didn’t even play in the repechage
Scottie Pippenstar of NBAopened the game on the Los Angeles Lakers and the premature elimination of the team in the 2021/2022 season. With an extensive history of injuries, the Californian team did not reach the campaign necessary to qualify in the “play-in” zone and lost all opportunities to play in the knockout series.
“There was obviously talent in the squad, but I feel like there was a lack of sacrifice from the players this season”explained Pippen, in an interview with the KTLA network. “They hired experienced athletes, who know the game and, in addition, can still perform at a high level. However, I don’t think that each individual has given up enough of the particular for the collective. It really caused a lot of the chaos we’ve seen over the year.”
CHANNEL – ATHLETISTIC:
the idol of Chicago Bulls completed, reinforcing the lack of sense of team on the part of LeBron James and co: “This team, in short, never created a unit or saw ties within that group. As a result, they were never able to develop any of the chemistry or chemistry needed to win.”.
In addition, Pippen highlighted the performance of the warriorswho battle in the Western Conference Finals: “Do you look at Golden State, on the other hand, and they figured out how to make it all work. I think it has a lot to do, in fact, with the core of its cast. Stephen, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are group leaders and driving forces of that team. So, whoever arrives knows how to play to fit in. The sacrifices, therefore, are very clear”.
