The French took advantage from the start, winning the first ten minutes by 12 points. Ukrainians in the second quarter began to act more aggressively and more reliably in defense, which allowed for some time to level the score. The teams left for the big break with a slight advantage of the hosts.
In the second half, the French have achieved a decisive advantage. In the final quarter, Ukraine tried to close the gap on points, but the hosts scored a big victory.
Alina Yagupova became the top scorer in our team with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Olga Maznichenko made a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds.
The team of Srdjan Radulovic suffered a second defeat in a row in the EuroBasket 2023 qualification and dropped to the third line of the B quartet. The final part of the selection will take place in winter, the Ukrainian team will play on February 9 with Finland, and on February 12 with Lithuania.
