The basketball player was sentenced to nine years in a penal colony for drug trafficking. Greiner was also fined 1 million rubles.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Russian businessman Viktor Bout was traded for American basketball player Brittney Griner at Abu Dhabi airport.
