The Boston Celtics hosted the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals series, overcame the absence of Marcus Smart, and drew the match 2-2.
On Monday night, the 23rd, the Boston Celtics received the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. After being down 2-1, the Massachusetts franchise managed to nullify their opponents, leading to a real massacre on the court and winning the match 102-82.
Despite the difficulties faced so far in the series, the Boston Celtics managed to overcome themselves and assert the command of the court, beating the Heat by 20 points of advantage. Even without Marcus Smartwho was named the best defensive player of the year, but was injured in Game 3, the hosts managed to excel and extended the series until, at least, Game 6.

The highlight of the match was Jayson Tatum, scoring 31 points. Even with the good performance, the point guard relied on significant scores from his teammates to guarantee the victory and saw Robert Williams (12), Jaylen Brown (12), Derrick White (13) and Payton Pritchard (14) also stand out on court.
Without Tyler Herro and with the minutes on the court reduced for its main stars, the Miami Heat didn’t have much potential and not much repertoire to beat the Celtics. With only 27 minutes on the court, Jimmy Butler scored just six points and had a performance far below the expectations of NBA lovers.
To have a dimension of the disastrous performance of the Heat, Jimmy Butler, PJ Tucker, Bam Adebayo, Kyle Lowry and Max Strus, who were starters in this match, did very poorly and combined for just 18 points. The team’s basket was Victor Oladipowho came off the bench and scored 23 points.
