The Kyiv team failed the third quarter and lost to Hapoel
Budivelnik lost Hapoel from Haifa in the first round the second stage of the FIBA Europe Cup.
The Kyiv team won the first quarter (23:21), but Budivelnik failed to develop the advantage. The representative of Ukraine left for a long break with a three-point gap – 35:38.
Budivelnik failed in the third quarter, allowing Hapoel to break away by 20 points. In the final segment of the game, the Ukrainian team tried to make a comeback, but won back only 10 points.
As a result, the first defeat of Budivelnik at the second stage of the FIBA European Cup was 71:81. The next match in the European Cup, the people of Kiev will play on December 20 against the Finnish Karhu.
