LeBron James used his official social networks to offer solidarity to the victims’ families and say that he is tired of these attacks in the United States.
LeBron James used his official social networks to vent this Tuesday, 24, after the confirmation of the death of 14 children and a teacher at a school in Texas, United States. The elementary school unit located in the city of Uvalde was the target of a shooting that would have been caused by an 18-year-old, who also died.
The NBA and Los Angeles Lakers said he was tired of seeing children at risk in schools and even losing their lives as in this case and in so many others that have already happened in the American country. To get an idea of the size of the tragedy, in all there were 27 incidents with firearms that happened in schools in 2022 alone.
“My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those killed and injured at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas! When it’s done, it’s done, man! They are kids and we continue to put them at risk at school. It’s serious “IN SCHOOL” where the safest place should be,” wrote Lebron James in his rant post.
The Los Angeles Lakers star also offered condolences to the families and called for changes to be made so that other lives are not lost. “This just has to change! IT HAS TO! Praying to the heavens for those who have children in schools these days”, wrote the player along with some sad emojis.
Lebron’s future
LeBron James seems to be making up his mind about his future with the Lakers after the NBA embarrassment. The team did not get a place in the playoffs of the competition and the rumors surrounding its future in the franchise ended up being questioned in recent days. However, in a press conference, the king of the biggest basketball league in the world surprised when talking about his future.

According to LeBron James, he achieved the main goal he had in the Lakers and was able to help the team win the NBA.
