The temperature at the site in Lviv dropped to +12 degrees
Polytechnic-Galicia was fined UAH 39,000 for violations of the requirements championship of Ukraine in matches of the Lviv bubble on December 18-20.
In particular, one of the locker rooms of the sports arena did not meet the requirements of the Rules, and the temperature in the playing hall was below the established minimum (+16.0). Sometimes, during the bubble, the temperature in the hall reached 12 degrees, which violates clause 37.1 of Article 37 of the Rules.
The sanction for violation is provided in the amount of 26 thousand hryvnias. In total, the owners of the site were fined 39 thousand. In addition, the Department for organizing and holding competitions as a whole considered the feasibility of holding the Super League bubble in Lviv in the future.
Earlier, the Basketball Federation of Ukraine disqualified Dnepr head coach Volodymyr Koval for five matches. Koval took his team off the court 18 seconds before the end of regular time in the Superleague match with Polytechnic-Galicia. The club will also pay a fine of 60 thousand hryvnia for the incident.
The maximum punishment for Koval’s actions is a fine of 200,000 hryvnia and a ban on coaching for two years. However, the Directorate took into account all the objective circumstances of the incident.
Politehnica-Galicia ranks sixth in the Superleague. The Lviv team won four out of six matches in the autumn part of the Ukrainian championship.
