NBA record broken for fastest three-pointer

Defender Indiana Pacers Buddy Hield in an NBA regular season game against “The Cleveland Cavaliers” set the record for fastest three-point shot.

The meeting was held Friday night in Indianapolis and ended with a score of 135:126 in favor of the owners of the floor. Hield fired a long-range shot in the third second of the match. This is the fastest three-point shot in NBA history since such stats first appeared (1996).

The previous achievement was also set by Indiana basketball player – Reggie Miller in 2000 hit the Golden State Warriors ring in the fourth second of the game.

In the current NBA season, Hield has played 36 games and is averaging 17.8 points. In the NBA standings in the Eastern Conference, Indiana is in sixth place (19 wins for 17 losses).
