Jokic is candid about NBA awards and records: “I don’t play for that”

Denver Nuggets NBA star Nikola Jokic opened up about awards and individual milestones in his career; pivot can be MVP for the third consecutive time

Nikola Jokicwhich defends the denver nuggets at NBA, broke the silence on his individual character records and awards in the league. The player explained that such goals were never his main focus in his career. The Serbian, however, has a chance to win the title of MVP (most valuable player) for the third consecutive time.

“I don’t play here for records, triple-doubles and prizes”nailed Jokic to the portal “EuroHoops”. “The MVPs, for example, will mean a little more to me when I finish my career. It’s not with that kind of recognition in mind that I play. Of course you are glad, certainly, when you get something like that. However, that was never what I aimed for in this league.”

If your best argument for not recognizing Nikola is that he’s already won the last two, then I’d say you’re being lazy.”, stressed the commander.
