The best player was determined by a poll of fans, team captains and FBU
Forward of the Dnieper Stanislav Timofeenko recognized as the best player Superleague in December.
Nine players competed for the MVP title last month. Voting was carried out in three blocks – a survey of fans, captains of Superleague teams and representatives of the Basketball Federation of Ukraine (FBU). The top three in each poll received 5, 3 and 1 points.
As a result, the captain of the Dnieper scored 10 points. Budivelnik’s center Maxim Sandul and BIPA defender Oleksandr Ryabchuk received 7 points each. The top five also included Zaporozhye center Anton Buts (5 points) and Polytechnic-Galicia defender Mikhail Gorobchenko (1 point).
Last month, Timofeenko averaged 13.6 points, 10.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.4 steals while shooting 71% of two-point shots. Stanislav’s efficiency rating in December was 25.0 points, the best result in the Superleague.
Recall that the first bubbles in the Super League in the new year will be held in Cherkasy and Dnipro from January 10 to 15.
In the Super League, Budivelnik is the leader, having won all 13 of his matches. Cherkasy Mavpy closes the table of the tournament, having got one victory, having lost 11 fights.
