At present, more than 63.5 thousand tickets have been sold for the meeting. The previous record in NBA regular season history, set in March 1998 during the Atlanta Hawks – Chicago Bulls game – 62,046 spectators.
The Spurs-Warriors meeting will take place on January 13 at the Alamodome, which is primarily used for American football games.
It is expected that upon completion, the game will be visited by around 68,000 people.
