I really just want to play basketball for four more years after this season.”assumed Green. “I’ve always said my magic number is 15 years (relative to the draft date). So when I reach my 15th season that will be it. I will move on and enjoy my life. After all, I will leave it to young people to carry on my legacy from there.”

The player added: “We have so many good players emerging right now. And I also can’t be the type of player who delays the end of his career. I don’t want to think at the end of the day that I’m just writing checks for not delivering performance. I can’t be that guy because everything I gave to my team will come back.”
