The former basketball player in Ukraine sold jewelry at auction to help Ukraine in the war with Kremlin troops.
Stanislav Medvedenko received two new championship rings from the Lakers to replace the ones that were sold. The club gave its former basketball player jewelry instead of the ones he had to sell at a charity auction.
Recall that Medvedenko put the rings in the summer of 2022. Then, for each of the lots, it is possible to get 126,767 dollars.
He donated all proceeds to the rehabilitation of over 500 children from the regions most affected by the occupation forces’ aggression. And also for the restoration of the infrastructure of sports schools in Ukraine, which suffered during the conflict.
