The Ukrainian team came out on top of group A
Ukrainian Prometheus beat on the road Bursaspor in the match of the 12th round Eurocup.
Ronen Ginzburg’s team won the first and second quarters with a minimal advantage – 23:22 and 27:26, respectively. According to the results of the third 10-minute period, Prometheus increased the lead to six points.
In the final part of the game, Bursaspor made a breakthrough 11:2 and took the lead. However, Prometheus returned to the game and won in a tense ending — 94:92.
Prometheus defender Caleb Agada was the most productive player of the meeting with 27 points. We also note the center of the Ukrainian team, Ondzhey Balvin, who has a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Prometheus won the fifth consecutive victory in the Eurocup and climbed to the first place in Group A. In the next match of the tournament, the Ginzburg team will play with the Spanish Joventut on February 1.
