Prometheus came out on top in his group
Prometheus head coach Ronen Ginzburg commented victory his team in the match Eurocup above Bursaspor (94:92).
“This is a great win for us in a hot incredible atmosphere against a good team with a good coach. We didn’t start the match very well. However, we quickly returned to the game. They showed character. We had a lot of good moments, but sometimes we made childish mistakes. And at the end of the match, you know, when you win with a difference of a couple of points, everything is decided by some trifle, and this trifle was on our side today.
“I’m glad that we won, I’m glad that maybe we gave some small reason to smile a little to people in Ukraine, in Dnipro. It is important. Each victory of this club is important, first of all, given the situation in Ukraine.”
Prometheus won the fifth consecutive victory in the Eurocup and climbed to the first place in Group A. In the next match of the tournament, the Ginzburg team will play with the Spanish Joventut on February 1.
