The storyteller Romulo Mendonca was announced as the new signing of Amazon Prime Video, streaming service. The iconic voice of American sports broadcasts will make her early Tuesday debut at the game Los Angeles Lakers x Oklahoma City Thunderby the NBA.
The match can mark the historical record of LeBron James. The Lakers’ number 6 is 36 points away from becoming the best scorer in the history of basketball competition in the United States and will leave behind the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabar.
“Continuing to narrate the NBA is fundamental due to the identification with the league that I created in recent years. I couldn’t be happier and more certain about this professional change”, said the narrator”, said Rômulo, who will also host the Los Angeles Lakers-Milwaukee Bucks broadcast next Thursday.

Rômulo Mendonça used social networks on January 17 to announce his departure from ESPN channels, which belong to the Disney Group. Without announcing his future, the narrator leaves the station after almost 12 years. The professional was confirmed by Amazon in February.
