— How did we manage to break CSKA’s long winning streak? Very well prepared for this meeting. In principle, we knew exactly where the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent were, and we used it in the last game. CSKA are playing very well this year, especially at home. We really wanted to win. At some point, the recordings run out. It’s good that it happened in the game against us.

But the season is still long, everything continues, and I think the most interesting things are to come. Glad we won. Also, this season is not very stable for us: either up or down. We are happy to have found our game, especially with an opponent like CSKA. Even when they were 12 points down, they didn’t give up, they came out and scored balls that turned the tide of the game,” Fridzon told .

The basketball player also spoke about his expectations for the upcoming second leg of the Russian Cup quarter-finals with Uralmash.

“We won the first game against our opponent and must win tomorrow with our fans and go to the Final Four of the tournament,” added the basketball player.

Zenit and Uralmash will play on February 9 in Saint Petersburg. The live broadcast can be seen on the channels “”, “Match! Game” and “Match! Planet” from 6:55 p.m. (MSK).
