The Spanish Paul Gasol debuted as a coach NBA All-Star Risingplayed by rookies, second-year and G-League players in Salt Lake City, and crowned Puerto Rican champions Jose Alvarado as the great figure of his group.

The semifinals are played by the first team to reach 40 points while the final is won by the first team to reach 25 points.
Team Pau He clearly prevailed in the first semifinal by 40-25 thanks, in large part, to 13 points by an Alvarado who was very involved in the match from the start.
