Basketball player Westbrook to buy out Utah contract and move to Clippers – media

american defender Russell Westbrook signs a contract with the NBA Los Angeles Clippers according to journalist Adrian Wojnarowski, citing the player’s agent Jeff Schwartz.

Westbrook will join the Clippers after signing a buyout deal with the Utah Jazz.

In early February, the 34-year-old left the Los Angeles Lakers for Utah in a three-way trade involving the Minnesota Timberwolves. The point guard has played in 52 NBA games this season, averaging 15.9 points, 7.5 assists and 6.2 rebounds.

Westbrook is the 2017 regular season MVP and nine-time NBA All-Star.
