“The Atlanta Falcons” fired head coach Nate McMillan according to the National Basketball Association (NBA) website.
Joe Prunty, who was MacMillan’s assistant, will serve as Atlanta’s head coach.
McMillan took over as caretaker head coach for the second half of the 2020/21 season. The 58-year-old specialist was confirmed as head coach in July 2021. Under his leadership, the team has won 99 and suffered 80 losses.
This NBA regular season season, the Hawks have won 29 in 59 games and occupy the eighth row in the Eastern Conference.
