Lonzo Ball will need further knee surgery due to the injury in January 2022, his third since being injured, and may not play again
Lonzo Ball, point guard Chicago Bulls and who hasn’t been on the court for just over a year, will need to undergo another surgery since his knee injury. The player, who will not play in 2022/23 and runs the risk of losing whole next seasonas the degree of treatment is serious risk and needs great care.
According to the ESPN, the 25-year-old athlete’s chance of retirement is real and could happen if Ball fails to regain physical conditioning after the period, which according to the Chicago Bulls, has no deadline to end, giving the player total freedom to deal with the injury that could end your career.
Lonzo Ball will undergo a knee cartilage transplant and could spend more than two and a half years out of action. There is little hope that the point guard will return to training at the end of the 2023/24 season, however the chance of this not happening is high, so the risk of retirement exists and worries NBA fans.

Lonzo spoke about everything that has happened since the announcement of the injury and believes that the future can be better for the player. Ball has a four-year contract with the Bulls, is currently in his second year and can only play again in the final season of his bond with the Chicago team.
