The best musicians, bloggers, celebrities and professional gamers will meet on the site. The HOOPS, GOATS, Omanko, Basement, Pena, AVG, Sayonaraboys and Rodina Media teams have already announced their participation. Among the players: singer T-Killah, footballer Dmitry Tarasov, the team of hip-hop artist LJ and many others.
The driving atmosphere of the competition will be created by an impressive multimedia platform with a large number of screens, lighting effects and professional sound – every match will turn into a sports spectacle. The main tournament will be held in two stages, where everyone will play with everyone else. 8 teams will qualify for the playoffs, which will be played according to the Olympic system.
Matches will be played in a 3×3 format for two rings and will last 10 minutes of pure game time. Teams are made up of a maximum of 10 people, while only one professional basketball player can be on the court at a time during the game. The reduced size of the field – 20 meters instead of the usual 28 meters will make the game even more spectacular.
The tournament breaks out of the usual basketball setting, transforming the game into a real sports reality TV show. Metropolitan Arbat room for a month, it will transform into a basketball hub, where dynamic games, talks, artist performances, DJs, challenges and famous Basement community parties await the public.
On March 14, registration for the Combine Draft Tournament opened, during which anyone can have the opportunity to join one of the teams and compete for the main prize. Similar to the NBA’s annual selection system, to enter the top teams, participants will have to overcome a real basketball challenge: complete several tests and sports shots, as well as play 5 on 5, and show their best.
The creators of the tournament are the founders of the sensational BASEMENT MOSCOW parties in partnership with Phil Kostrubov. Tickets will be available on the official tournament website from March 25, 2023.
