A NBA can change your stance on your athletes using marijuana. According to information from the newspaper “Marca”, in a new agreement with the North American Basketball League Players Association (NBPA), whose details are still to be formalized, one of the clauses includes the release of the substance to competitors.
This new agreement is expected to last for seven years. In the current format of the agreement, marijuana is considered a prohibited substance, although the suspension is applied only to players who have already been caught three times in anti-doping. It is worth mentioning that the league had already suspended random tests for cannabis detection in 2020, before the end of the season in the “Disney bubble” (which occurred due to the Covid-19 pandemic).
Some NBA stars have already publicly positioned themselves on the subject, such as Kevin Durantwhich currently supports the phoenix suns: “If you love her, you love her.
