Center “Minnesota” Rudy Gobert in the last game of the NBA regular season with “New Orleans” hit his teammate – striker Kyle Anderson. This was reported in Twitter insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
The episode took place in the third trimester. The players settled things on the bench, after which Gobert punched his opponent in the chest. Separate partner teammates, Gobert went to the locker room and no longer went to the ground.
After the game, the Frenchman apologized to his teammates and promised it wouldn’t happen again.
Minnesota finished eighth in the Western Conference in the NBA regular season and will play the play-off round with the Los Angeles Lakers. According ESPN Timberwolves management is considering the possibility of removing Gobert for at least one game in the series.
