NBA regular season ended this Sunday, with the definition of all qualifiers to the knockout stage; play-in winners will advance to the playoffs
Last Sunday, the 9th, the 2022/23 NBA regular season ended and defined all teams qualified for the playoffs and play-in. The best overall campaign in this phase was Milwaukee Buckswith 58 wins and 24 defeats.
The play-in is scheduled for this week, between April 11th and 14th. Are in contention: Miami Heat, Atlanta Hawks, Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bull (Eastern Conference), in addition to Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans and Oklahoma City Thunder (Western Conference). The playoff schedule starts on April 15th.
The teams that were between the seventh and tenth places in each conference will have the chance to advance to the playoffs through the play-in dispute, classification that exists in the league for two seasons. The teams duel in single knockout games for the last four spots in the dispute for the title of the season.
In the model, the franchise that ended the regular season with the seventh position will face the eighth place. Whoever wins this duel will guarantee seventh place in the playoffs, while the loser will fight for eighth place against the winner of the game between the ninth and tenth.
