The National Basketball Association (NBA) has set several attendance records for the 2022/23 regular season, according to the league’s press service.
A total of 22.23 million people attended all matches in the regular season, before that the best result was 22.1 million in the 2017/18 season. The average attendance was 18.07 thousand spectators, in the 2017/18 season an average of 17.98 thousand fans came to the game.
In addition, all tickets were sold for 791 regular season matches and the average stadium occupancy rate was 97%.
The NBA playoffs begin on April 15.
