Minnesota basketball player Gobert suspended from NBA playoff after fight with teammate

Minnesota Timberwolves Center Rudy Gobert Suspended for one game in a play-in series against the Los Angeles Lakers after an altercation with a teammate in the NBA’s final regular season game against the New Orleans Pelicans, according to the club’s website.

The episode took place in the second trimester. The players smoothed things over during the timeout, first there was a verbal skirmish and then Gobert punched his opponent in the chest. Separate partner teammates, Gobert went to the locker room and no longer went to the ground.

After the game, the Frenchman apologized to his teammates and promised it wouldn’t happen again.

“Minnesota” in the NBA regular season finished eighth in the Western Conference and will play in the qualifying round with Lakers . The team meeting will take place on April 11.
