NBA bans ex-Charlotte Hornets basketball player 30 games for domestic violence

Former Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges has been suspended by the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 30 league games for domestic violence.

According to the criminal case, Bridges repeatedly raised his hand to his wife in front of the children. The athlete may face a felony charge of harming the mother of a child and two charges of child abuse in circumstances or conditions that could result in grievous bodily harm or death. The athlete was later released on bail.

It should be noted that Bridges has already served 20 games out of a 30-game suspension as he didn’t sign a contract with any team in the 2022/23 season and missed all 82 regular-season fixtures. If a basketball player signs a new contract in the NBA, he will miss 10 games.

Bridges is currently a free agent.
